Linking facebook to twitter is one of the easiest things you can do with facebook. It will take you 5 minutes maximum.
I’m assuming you already have a twitter account. If not, you’ll need to create one here.
If you have an account you’re all set.
Go to this facebook url and you’ll see the following page. Click the green button “link a page to twitter”.
When you click the green button, you will be taken to this page.
All your pages will be listed. Just select the page you want to link to twitter.
You will see the following page in twitter, asking you to authorize access to the facebook app. Click “authorize app”.
Think about what you want to share on Twitter. The default setting shares everything you post, your status, your videos, your events etc. Un-check the boxes of the items you don’t want to share. For example, you might use notes and you may not think it’s necessary to share them on twitter, so un-check the notes box.
You will now see a yellow box telling you that you are now sharing your page updates on twitter.
Find something you want to share so you can test that it’s working. Click share the link.
Pop over to your twitter profile and you’ll see your post! All links shared directly from facebook will have a url starting with fb.me, so you can tell who is sharing via facebook.
I hope you enjoyed this really easy lesson! Please click the like button to share it.
